Environmental performance evaluation

We aim to make the building an architectural structure with standard primary energy consumption
reduced by at least 50%.

We aim to obtain gold certification under the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design that is used worldwide.

We aim to obtain the highest Rank S certification under the Comprehensive Assessment System for Built Environment Efficiency （CASBEE）.

We will secure a building rated “Stage 3,” which is the highest level under the rating system based on Tokyo Metropolitan Ordinance on Environmental Preservation.

Environmental initiatives of Toda Corporation

At Toda Corporation, we advance initiatives to reduce the environmental impact and projects that contribute to solving environmental issues.

Having joined the RE100 initiative in 2019, we are introducing power from renewable energy sources one by one to our business establishments, construction sites, and rental buildings. We aim to increase the rate of introduction to 50% by 2040 and to 100% by 2050. We also plan to introduce it to TODA BUILDING.

To inform our stakeholders of our aggressive ESG initiatives, we are issuing a Green Bond to raise part of the funds for constructing TODA BUILDING, thus contributing to creating a green building and town.

We have been certified as an Eco-First company by the Minister of the Environment. We also obtained SBT certification in 2017, a first for the construction industry of Japan. We have set CO2 emission reduction targets for 2030 and 2050. We work to reduce CO2 emissions in the respective steps of design, construction, and building operation.
