"GACHANTO PIN" Temporary Boltl-free joining method

Overview

Situation of construction
Typical high-strength bolted joints are temporarily fixed using two or more temporary bolts, approximately one third of the number of bolts for each group of bolts, so the work of installing, tightening, and removing the temporary bolts was time-consuming.
This method temporarily fixes the steel column and the girder steel frame by simply inserting a temporary bolt-free jointing jig attached to the girder steel frame into the column bracket.
Significantly reduces the amount of work required to erect steel frames at high elevations, leading to improved work efficiency and safety.

Advantages

  • i. Easy temporary fixing of steel columns and large beam steel frames
  • ii. The work time for temporary jointing (installation, tightening, and removal of temporary bolts) can be reduced to approximately one third of the conventional work time for steel erection (large beams).
  • iii. Improve safety by reducing work at heights
