Pair Locking Clip (Type I/II)

Overview

New Ceiling Earthquake-Resistant Reinforcement Metals with Improved Construction Efficiency

Pair Locking Clip® has been adopted as a standard on our site since September 2016 as a reinforcing hardware that can greatly improve the earthquake resistance of ceilings. It is more than twice as strong as the JIS clip used for ordinary ceilings, and it is possible to prevent the clip falling off that is securing the ceiling joist and the receiver of ceiling joist, which are one of the main causes of the ceiling falling. The Pair Locking Clip® II is a new Pair Locking Clip® with improved workability and reduced cost while ensuring the required strength.

Advantages

The Pair Locking Clip® Type II offers improved workability and lower cost compared to the conventional Pair Locking Clip® (hereinafter referred to as "I-type") (strength is smaller than "I-type"). By introducing the Pair Locking Clip® II type, it can be used together with Type I according to the seismic performance requirements.
