Technologies to Support Building Safety and Reliability

"Yurekanchi" Earthquake Monitoring System

Overview

-Immediately determining building health in the event of a large earthquake-

This system measures building shaking during an earthquake and judges the soundness of the building by using the original "Yurekanchi Sensor" of Toda Construction.
The "Yurekanchi Sensor" catches the movement of the building in the event of an earthquake as acceleration data, and sends it to the cloud server via the Internet line, and calculates it as the building seismic intensity in the server, and judges the safety of the building by comparing with the past disaster severity data.
Users can use PCs and smartphones to acquire the information.
Simplification of the equipment configuration has resulted in a drastic cost reduction (80%▲ compared to our conventional equipment).

Features

System Features

1 Easy to understand
The diagnostic results of the building are displayed in an easy-to-understand and immediate manner. Difficult technical terms and figures are not used at all, and the degree of damage is expressed in color.

2 At any time or anywhere
Coordination with PCs and smartphones is easy. So at any time, anywhere, anyone can see the state of the building.

3 multiple sites / collective management
The status of multiple sites can also be managed collectively. It is useful for early-stage consideration of supply chain management in the event of a disaster.

Information distribution

If an earthquake exceeding the set value occurs, judgement on the JMA seismic intensity scale equivalent and soundness of the building and photos of the interior can be distributed by e-mail.

As guideline for post-earthquake behavior

Judgment of continued use after earthquakes
Establishment of a restoration plan based on seismic data and judgment results
Formulation of supply chain management in the event of an earthquake through unified monitoring of multiple sites (buildings)
