SAKUSAKU SLIT method

Overview

The SAKUSAKU SLIT method (Structuring of Lower under-ground by Industrial Technologies) is based on the inverted lining method using precast members and it is a quick construction technique for cut-and-cover underground structures. After the construction of sidewall members, which also serve as temporary earth retaining functions, the precast top plate is built and the ground division is completed at this early stage then the inside is excavated and constructed.
Ground division can be opened quickly by shortening the construction period and reducing costs by omitting temporary earth retaining works, and by constructing top plate in advance.
